Restoration Daily Devotional – Day 1

Restoration Day 1: We Need the Power of Restoration in our Life!

God truly is a God of restoration, and He has a plan for the restoration of the human race. Through His Son, we are now able to return to intimate fellowship with God, renewed innocence and the promise of eternal life. Restoration is the very nature of God. Acts 3:19-21 says, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” The moment Adam sinned, God set the process of restoration in motion. Throughout the ages He spoke to His prophets about this holy reversal. Some of these prophecies have been fulfilled. Others, including the second coming of Christ, will be fulfilled in the future. We are in the midst of seeing the greatest plan of restoration the world will ever know unfold right before us!

The simple truth is that God is more interested in restoration than in judgment! Even in His judgment, God has a plan to restore. We see time and time again how God judged the nation of Israel for its wickedness and disobedience. Yet each time, God restored Israel to Himself. God’s nature and purpose in an individual’s life is no different. Though we may experience judgment for what we or those in generations before us have done, be assured that somewhere in all our suffering, God has a plan to bring restoration and to get us back on course so that we might receive our inheritance and fulfill our intended destinies.

To restore means to revive and return to life, or to bring back to a former or original condition. This definition, however, falls short of all that restoration in God means. God intends to do more than bring us back to a former or original condition. He intends to multiply and increase us beyond that point. He longs for our latter days to be greater than our former days.God’s plan for you is restoration!

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day 15)

Day 15 of 21: Embracing the Mystery!

This is a season that we must press into faith, and expect angelic help. This is also a season to become aware of God in our life and in our society. His Presence should be the defining influence in how we are directed on a daily basis. We want to continue allowing His light to shine brighter and brighter, so no darkness can remain. Consequently, we must resist religion! Religion has methods and rituals attached to how we present our life to a Holy God. God is longing for relationship, not religion. He gave His Son as a sacrifice to open our eyes to Who He really is, and the freedom he can restore in our lives. His best premise and promise is that His children are able to surpass themselves by entering into a relationship with the Creator of the world. By yielding our heart to His Son who resurrected and overcame death, hell, and the grave, and was witnessed by many, and by allowing His Spirit to dwell in our spirit, we can now have access to Father’s heart and love freely. Mankind, who are part of this world, can have relationship with the One who is greater than this world.
To know God, we must have a sense of MYSTERY. In any healthy relationship, one must never lose the mystery. When we lose mystery and wonder in a relationship, familiarity takes over. I love to surprise my wife, kids, those I love and those I am associated with by giving them gifts, or speaking to them or letting them know something
that they would not normally know. God is God! He is the same yesterday, today and forever. However, His love is an incredible mystery that man must remain in awe of. This is why worship Him. May you have a sense of that mystery today! God has implanted in the hearts of mankind the mystery of Himself. Seek His heart as you
progress through this season. Analyze every relationship you have and see if there is a mystery working in that relationship. Then ponder your relationship with God.

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day 14)

Day 14 of 21 Days: Be Careful What You Behold!

Hanukkah is a time to celebrate the Light of the World as well as develop our expectation for miracles. Lisa Lyons shared her insights on this season.
“During prayer this morning, I saw Mary after she had been visited by Gabriel. This would have been during Hanukkah, the time we are in now. She was standing before a Hanukkiah and as she looked into the miraculous burning represented by the flames, the light became a portal into the heavenlies and Mary beheld the 7-fold Lampstand. It was as she beheld that Light in the Throneroom that she was over-shadowed by the power of the Most High, and Jesus – the Light of the World – was conceived. It was with Mary as it had been with Jacob and the speckled, striped, and mottled sheep…what they were gazing on when they conceived was what they brought forth.
“The Lord said that this is where we are now. We are all in the process of conceiving something, whether we are conscious of it or not, and what we are beholding at this time is what we will conceive and bring forth in days ahead. God desires to impregnate us with a dimension of promise and the miraculous that will rock the earth for His Kingdom. The wombs of our spirit are open in a unique way, at this time. Many who have been barren of promise in the past will now find themselves with multiple births if they simply choose to behold Him and His promise, nothing else.
In these next few days I believe we have an invitation from the Lord, to seek Him for those things He would have us look upon and behold at this time; those things He wants to impregnate us with to ensure that the fullness and increase of the Father’s heart for all of us, and His Kingdom, is birthed into the earth in days ahead.

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day 13)

Day 13 of 21 Days: Light in the Darkness!

On the second full day of Hanukkah, we need to remember that LIGHT SHINES in the DARKNESS! I remember being in New Orleans during Hanukkah one year. The Lord was having me pray along the river and in the French Quarter. I went by one shop where the evidence of voodoo was present and I felt the Lord impress to go in and look around. I was startled at first, knowing that our family had spiritism in our blood line. The year prior, I had spent time renouncing the occult practices from my life so I could hear the Lord speak more clearly. However, I knew His voice and consequently obeyed. When I got in the shop, my thoughts were: “This is so dark in here and the people who are involved are dark. What am I doing in here?” The Lord immediately spoke to me and said, “I visited the depths of hell. I sent My Word as Light into darkness! I sent you in here. In days ahead, I will have many assignments for you in many dark places!”

During this Hanukkah season, watch how the Light in you pierces the darkness around you. Penny Jackson sent this yesterday:
“It’s dark outside today. While it’s only noon, there’s no sun to be seen, and the clouds look heavy and wintry. As I look out my front window, I see my neighbors putting up their Christmas lights, white twinkling lights that stand out clearly against their gray backdrop. Inside, I am home from work, sitting with the lamps off, enjoying the lights on my Christmas tree and garlands. Their glow warms the darkest corners of the house today. Yesterday it was sunny with blue skies. Once again I had only Christmas lights on. While I was aware that they were on, the effect was just not the same as today against the clouds. It’s really against dark that light shines brightest, isn’t it? It’s in the dark where a lighthouse helps sailors navigate. It’s in the dark that a flashlight shows us the path in front of us. It’s even the little nightlight that shines to keep a child from being afraid in the dark.

Scripture says in both Isaiah and Matthew that ‘the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.’ Jesus, the Light of the world, was born into a time of great darkness and hopelessness. In John 8:12, He promises, ‘I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’ I don’t think anyone likes seeing the events of the world right now. But it is IN this darkness that the Light of the world will shine brighter and brighter, as the day approaches when it will be light always. Enjoy the lights in your life this season and celebrate Jesus, the great Light who shines brightly amidst the darkness, and always will.
‘There were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said to them, fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior which is Christ the Lord.’” (Luke 2: 8-11)

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day 12)

Day 12 of 21 Days:

Your Testing from the Past Year Will Cause You to Overcome!

On this first full day of Hanukkah, I feel it would be very beneficial for each one of us to review why this Feast was celebrated. Antiochus IV Epiphanes, a Syrian king, was adamant that the Jews reject their faith and adopt a Greek mindset. He erected a statue to Zeus in the Temple, and then profaned the holy altar by sacrificing a pig. A family living outside Jerusalem made a stand. The father, Mattathais, was a priest with five sons. One of his sons was named Judah. Judah came to be called Maccabee, the “Hammer”. They revolted, retook the Temple, cleansed it, and rededicated it to the Lord. Hanukkah is the Hebrew word for dedication. One of the major principles is PERSEVERANCE IN THE MIDST OF YOUR WARFARE.

When you are being tested, never forget: GOD IS ABLE! God is able to BRING FORTH THE RESOURCES, STRENGTH, VALOR, POWER, STRATEGY, & RICHES YOU NEED! Many of us are moving forward, but have grown weary in our journey and are saying, “Lord, I need help!” Moses was in the same place when Jethro told him that he was not able to do everything for the people and needed help. Let the Lord give you His creative strategy of help! Memorize Ex. 18:18. A testing produces a testimony!

I hear the Lord saying: “What you were tested with in this past season… the enemy will come again with that test. But this time you will arise and say, ‘I’m not who you tested in the last season!’ And the enemy will now say, ‘I have stepped into the place of my demise.’

“The LORD would remind you: ‘I will form you as a new, sharp, threshing instrument and you will be victorious in your next test.’ The next 3 months will be a forming time for you! I AM forming something within you. In My hand I will form you! I WILL RELEASE SUPERNATURAL DISCERNMENT, POWER AND GIFTING TO YOU! I have dunamis power. If you ask for wisdom, rather than riches, I will give abundantly. If you need riches to accomplish My covenant purpose, then I will give you wisdom to overthrow the power that is covering your supply. Let Me activate the gifts in you, so you accomplish all you place your hand on to do. Let Me form you as a new weapon and instrument that is ready for My use! I AM ABLE TO MAKE YOU PREVAIL OVER YOUR ENEMIES! Listen not to the devil, or his messenger, as he attempts to convince you that some things are too big to overcome. Remember Goliath who spoke for 40 days to remove the faith and triumphant strength of My children. Be like David! Remember my CAUSE! Keep a pure, simple, faith in MY covenant word. Your faith and My power will destroy the giant that was contesting My cause and promise.”

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day 11)

Releasing the Great HALLELUJAH within You!

Day 11 of 21 Days:

Stay Connected this Hanukkah!

Brian Kooiman came to me this morning and shared the following:
The celebration of Hanukkah will begin tonight at sundown. Hanukkah is a time that we celebrate the Light that came to the world … the Word that became flesh, and that provides a lamp to our feet. This Light of the World came to rightly connect us with our Heavenly Father, and to make intercession for us so that we are seated with Him in heavenly places.

Five years ago, you sent out an emailer with prophetic revelation to prepare us for Hanukkah. The Spirit of God exhorted us to stay connected, and not to disconnect from each other or the Throne Room. At that time, I remember wrestling with isolation and not wanting to enter into the celebration of Hanukkah and the Festival of Lights. Therefore, I made some wrong decisions and missed the whole blessing of this season. I am just grateful to God that He gives us another season to celebrate.

I believe this Hanukkah is a unique opportunity to align in new ways, and to receive a fullness of joy that awaits each of God’s children. I believe that if we celebrate Hanukkah this year any portal of the enemy will be shut. Furthermore, we will position ourselves for a release of God’s anointing that will fill our deepest desires and cause our identity in Him to blaze brightly for all the world to see.
Prophetic Revelation Previously Released on December 10, 2009 at Hanukkah!

Prophecy is so important. Without prophecy we perish. I know that so many of us are going through tremendous trials. However, we are receiving incredible breakthrough reports from many. Here is a prophetic word to encourage you:

“Stay connected this week! Stay connected this week!
There is something that you are going to have to praise your way through. Stay connected this week! Stay connected this week! Do not disconnect from Me. Do not disconnect from My Throne Room. Do not disconnect from where you are. Do not disconnect from each other. Stay connected so you can press on through what you’ll be going through.

“Be where I assign you, when I assign you. There are new connections coming into your path this week.
You will begin to experience life in a way that you’ve not known in the past. So be where you are to be, when you are to be there, and watch Me work on your behalf. Put procrastination under your feet. Put laziness under your feet, and be where I tell you to be. Put shame under one foot and put disgust and lagging behind under the other foot. Be where I tell you to be! It’s at that place you will begin to see.

“I am pulling down revelation in the night season. I am sending angels of preparation and angels of positioning.
I am defining you in a new way. These are not the angelic hosts that you have known in other seasons. These are angels that are sharpening the Word that is in your mouth. They are sharpening your schedule and your timing to put you in the position to which I have called you. You are shaking off what is not of Me. You are shaking off things you have heard and said that were not about this season. I am sending a new angelic force. You are feeling their pressure as they work to hone you into that sharp place I am putting you in this day. Stay connected! Stay connected even though this is not the message you have expected from a former season of angelic visitation.

“There is a new place for you to go. There is a new job waiting on you. There is a relationship waiting on you. There is a new place that I am assigning you. Watch carefully. Go where I send you. Do not go in your own strength, for it is Me that is sending you forth. I AM mobilizing you. I AM giving you the strength to rise up. Go where I send you. Do not be frightened by what you hear. Do not back up just because giants seem near. Stand firm for I AM going before you. Just go with Me and say, ‘I have been sent to receive this blessing.’

“I can part what is un-partable. I can cause that which would not let go to now come apart so you can pass through. This is a time of showing. I plan on showing you what you are looking for. Do not back up for the show is ready to begin! The show is ready to begin! Therefore, find your seat in Me and get ready to watch the manifestation that you have been asking Me about.

“Your seat and your position have already been prepared for you. Come up! Through your worship, rise up and be seated with Me. Together we will decree into your atmosphere and change your condition. Come up, be seated, and watch that area around you in the earth realm be filled with My presence. Come into a new place with Me. Join Me in a new way. I have blessings that you know not of that I long to pour out over you.

“I have been looking for a group. I have been looking for the ones to anoint now. There is an anointing that I am bringing down from heaven so you can stand as one and break through the barrier that the enemy has erected. I AM coming in NOW!

“I am coming into your life in new ways. I am breaking that which has been around you. I am causing you to feel My presence in new ways. I am causing you to be favored in new ways. I am breaking through the blood carrier in your brain. You thought that knowledge could get through, but I have got to break that blood barrier where the iniquitous flow from generations in your life continues to have right to operate. I will cause you to come alive and see what I would see. I am breaking through a blood barrier! I am breaking through a blood barrier! What has been filed and catalogued is now coming alive. I am going to reverse some Alzheimer’s. I am going to reverse some dementia. I am changing some things. I am going to reverse stuttering. I am going to reverse dyslexia. I am breaking through the blood barrier in your brain. My presence can penetrate.

“I will reveal My glory. I am coming to reveal so I can break open the seal that has closed up what you have been looking for. I am neutralizing your chromosomes from iniquitous patterns. Let My glory penetrate! Let My glory penetrate! I am breaking your insecurity barrier. I am uncovering the treasure that you have been. I am uprooting what has been buried deep, and causing you to flower and blossom forth in a new way. Let Me uproot! Let Me uproot!”

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day 10)

DAY 10 of 21 DAYS:

I keep hearing “GOD IS ABLE!” I believe this is a word for each of us as we enter this new season. The Holy Spirit seems to be beckoning me to pray for Gods’ people to declare and embrace GOD’S ABILITY to make each one of us able to overcome. Faith should be growing, and steadfast. Faith should be abiding, and continuing. Faith should be creating advancement in God’s Kingdom. I see that we have grown anxious in the cares of this world. We have fallen into fear of failure, fear of harm, fear of abandonment, and fear of the future. We have forgotten God’s ability to bless. As I prayed the phrase, “God is able,” faith rose in me for us. I saw that our seeking must progress from little faith to overcoming power. GOD IS ABLE TO DRESS YOU, GIVE YOU WEAPONS, AND SEND YOU INTO THE WAR VICTORIOUSLY! Sometimes we do not quite have our armor in position. Sometimes we are using last season’s war methods. Sometimes we are do not know how to use our weapons. Sometimes we forget we are in war. He can make you able to bear buckler and sword for victory. Meditate on I Chron. 5:18.
I hear the Lord saying: “My people must always be going from faith to faith. As they enter this new season, I see that they are struggling in their going. They have faith, but their faith is weak. Their expectations have been bruised. Their hope in Me performing what I have spoken has become like a faded dream. They are living in the present, with dread for the future. They no longer anticipate favorable outcomes in their lives. Therefore, My favor is slowing lifting from them. They are not rising above but being sidetracked by circumstances. These circumstances are keeping them from entering into MY creative power. I AM GOD and not man! I AM ABLE TO release new vigor and strength that will catapult them into their next season of SEEING. I AM ABLE. LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN ABILITIES, FOR I CAN ENABLE YOU!”
GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE YOU ENDURE UNTIL YOU GET TO YOUR “THERE!” One meaning of the word endure is ‘to repair a broken foot so you can step forward, continue on your journey, and possess the promise God has for you.’ I declare anything that has caused your feet and spiritual walk to have broken peace, will now be mended and you will continue on your journey to prophetic fulfillment. Read Gen. 33:14. Some of you are on the journey called “DIVINE RETURN TO PROMISE AND DESTINY!

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day Nine)

Day 9 of 21 Days:

A Hole in our Soul and a Grieving Spirit Can Create Dread!

Rebekah Faubion and Penny Jackson have helped us the last two days to deal with some of the wounds in our lives. Grief can lead you to dread. Have you ever listened to someone talk about what bad could happen next week, or next month, or even in the years to come? They dread getting up in the morning because of what could happen by the end of the day. Penny continues to help us better define the dread by writing the following:

I was helping my tutor student prepare for his English final exam the other day. We were going over the story of Pandora in Greek mythology, one I hadn’t thought about in years. I knew the basics: she is given a box and told not to open it. Curiosity got the best of her, she opened it, and evils (greed, pain, misery, etc.) started entering the world for the first time. Only one evil remained in the box. That was foreboding. One version put it this way: If it had escaped, no hope would have been would possible, and while man can bear endless troubles, he cannot live with no hope at all.” It really hit me when I read that. “Foreboding” means “apprehension, anxiety, disquiet, unease, and DREAD!” I hate dread, and it’s something I really have to stay on guard against. Even the ancient Greeks knew the damage dread could do. When we dread, anxiety begins. When we dread, joy is lost. When we dread, hope is gone. In short, dread sucks the life out of life. But Jesus came for us to have life more abundantly, not so that we would dread what is on the path ahead of us, be it tomorrow or ten years from now. The next time dread tries to ruin your day, spend some time meditating on this: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 There’s no room for dread in that verse, is there?

You have a good future. Ask the Lord to fill you with faith. I want to encourage you to read “Time to Defeat the Devil!” This is a book on defeating the spirit of infirmity and trauma.

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day Eight)

Day 8 of 21 Days:

How Long Will You Grieve?
The Christmas season can be one of the most glorious times of reflection for some, and heartbreak for others. Many can’t celebrate because of grief. Grief is a process of life. We all go through losses that result in seasons of grieving. God has ordained a timing element to get us through grief. Each year He would have us at the Feast of Tabernacles to rejoice for seven days. Rejoicing is an act that our will must come into agreement with. Nehemiah 8 is so key! The people were grieving over their deviation from the word that had created their captivity. The Lord said through Nehemiah to them: “This is not a day of grief but of rejoicing.” The Lord asked Samuel: “How long will you grieve over Saul’s demise!” Penny Jackson, who has experienced grief, healing, and deliverance wrote the following:

A Christian counselor once told me that grief is like water in a bucket inside of us. Unlike water, though, it doesn’t evaporate but must be poured out over time. This means that we must take the time to grieve, to let that grief pour out of us, so that it won’t pull us down “behind the scenes” where we aren’t even aware of it. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens…a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.” When loved ones die, there is a grieving process we must experience. Other countries and cultures often have built-in grieving times such as wakes, but we seem to say, “Well, they are with the Lord,” and get back to our lives. Take some time to see if there is un-evaporated grief in your life that could still be weighing you down. It might be over a loved one, but it could also be related to a death of something precious in your life. These days it could even be a death of innocence, as we hear tragic new stories each day. Whatever the case, take the time to weep so you can laugh wholeheartedly, and get your mourning done so you can DANCE!
Stop and dance!!!!

21 Days of Seasonal Devotions – Chuck Pierce (Day Seven)

Day 7 of 21 Days:

A Dream Full of Bullet Holes! Let Your Shield of Faith Be Restored!
One of the pieces of our armor that we put on is the Shield of Faith! The Faith Shield is so important because when it is in place, all the fiery darts of the enemy are quenched! The enemy loves to make our faith inactive and not applicable, as we walk through life’s circumstances. There are many faith robbers: bitterness, grief, traumas of all types that affect our memories, unbelief, doubt, lack of integrity, fear, and many other issues can be used by the enemy to stop us from advancing. Rebekah Faubion recently shared a key dream that follows below and then prophesied to help us move forward!

I had a dream this past Saturday night. In the dream, I was filled with bullet holes. However, even though I was riddled and leaking life, I continued to move forward. Nobody seemed to care that I had all these bullet holes in me and that I was wounded. I had a knife wound in my stomach and kept shouting, ‘I’m bleeding out, I’m going to die!’ Everyone around me was nonchalant, uncaring, and kept proceeding forward with their own lives. All I could think was that nobody seemed to notice that I was dying from this! I kept thinking, ‘I am going to die and you don’t even care!’
The Lord began to speak to me: “You are wounded! You have been wounded and you have allowed yourself to be wounded, and you have ignored the wound until now. I am getting ready to heal the wound in your belly! The time for ignoring the wounds in My body has ended. There will be no carrying on or accomplishing My purpose in the wounded season. I am ready to heal the wound in you. The wounding of the past has created a tiredness in you. There has been an exhaustion in you from your wounds and hurts that has caused you to lie down, become passive and even put casualty death covenant and words in motion. Today, I am saying, RISE UP! I am not calling you to lie down. I am calling you right now to get up, get up! Say out loud… ‘I am no longer going to sit in a wounded season. I am no longer going to lay down and die and allow you to trample over me, Satan’. Get up! Get up! Receive a new faith energy. New strength will arise and overtake your exhaustion! I say, ‘NO MORE!’ You say what I AM saying!”
I want to encourage you to SHOUT: NO MORE!!!! Read Psalm 47!!! I also want to suggest you read Restoring Your Shield of Faith by Chuck D. Pierce and Robert Heidler.
